Grand National-Winning Trainer
When Always Trying Racing Syndicate was founded, one of the first and most important decisions we made was choosing the right trainer. We wanted someone with an outstanding record, exceptional horsemanship and a proven ability to develop horses at every level of the sport.
For us, that trainer was Donald McCain.
Based at the renowned Bankhouse Stables in Cheshire, Donald has established himself as one of Britain's most respected National Hunt trainers. Carrying on the famous McCain family tradition, he has built an outstanding reputation for producing winners, developing young horses and campaigning them successfully at the country's biggest race meetings.
Donald reached the pinnacle of the sport when Ballabriggs won the 2011 Grand National, adding another historic chapter to a family name already synonymous with racing excellence. Since then, he has continued to enjoy success across Britain, training winners at prestigious racecourses including Aintree, Cheltenham, Haydock, Carlisle, Bangor, Hexham and many more.
At Always Trying Racing Syndicate, we value Donald's honest communication, attention to detail and unwavering commitment to every horse in his care. His professionalism, experience and ability to place horses in the right races give our members complete confidence that every horse is given the very best opportunity to succeed.
Our members regularly enjoy stable visits, behind-the-scenes access to Bankhouse Stables and the opportunity to watch their horses compete at some of Britain's most iconic racecourses. Sharing those experiences alongside a trainer of Donald's calibre is one of the many benefits of being part of the Always Trying Racing Syndicate.
We are incredibly proud to have horses trained by Donald McCain and look forward to creating many more memorable race days and winner's enclosure celebrations together in the years ahead.
