Around 2020, Always Trying Racing Syndicate started with one simple vision—to make racehorse ownership accessible, affordable, and enjoyable for everyone.
Founded by lifelong racing enthusiast Neville King, the syndicate was built on the belief that the excitement of owning a racehorse shouldn't be reserved for a privileged few. Neville wanted to create an experience where ordinary racing fans could enjoy all the thrills of ownership without the significant financial commitment that traditionally comes with owning a racehorse.
Today, that vision has become a reality, with members from across the UK sharing unforgettable racing moments, stable visits, owners' experiences and, most importantly, winners.
Building the Right Foundations
From the very beginning, Neville understood that success would depend on building the syndicate the right way.
Every aspect was carefully considered—from selecting quality horses and establishing relationships with respected trainers to ensuring members received excellent communication and genuine value for money.
Choosing the right trainers was one of the most important decisions. Always Trying Racing Syndicate is proud to work with Grand National-winning trainer Donald McCain and Group 1-winning trainer Julie Camacho, giving members opportunities to enjoy both National Hunt and Flat racing at a high level.
