About Always Trying Racing Syndicate

Hi, I'm Neville King, founder of Always Trying Racing Syndicate.
Horse racing has been my passion for many years, and after enjoying success as a racehorse owner myself, I founded Always Trying Racing Syndicate to give ordinary racing fans the opportunity to experience the excitement, friendships and unforgettable memories that racehorse ownership brings—without the significant costs of owning a horse outright.

We are a family-run racing syndicate based in Nottinghamshire, giving racing enthusiasts the opportunity to experience affordable racehorse ownership with horses trained by some of Britain's leading trainers.

Since launching in 2023 we've celebrated multiple winners, unforgettable race days and created lasting memories for members across the UK.

Today, we're proud to have horses in training with Grand National-winning trainer Donald McCain and Group 1-winning trainer Julie Camacho. Together, we've celebrated multiple winners, runners at some of Britain's best racecourses and continue to grow a fantastic community of racing enthusiasts from across the UK.

Building Success

2023

Always Trying Racing Syndicate is founded in August.

'Idylle Sauvage' becomes the first horse to wear the Always Trying colours when on 26th November 2023 Donald McCain saddles our very first runner at Uttoxeter Racecourse.

2024

'Could Be Trouble' joins the Always Trying Syndicate and wears the colours

🏆 Could Be Trouble First Winner – Catterick, 27th February 2024

'Pearl Abbey' joins the Always Trying Syndicate and in June 2024 we have our first ever flat runner when Julie Camacho saddles her at Haydock Park.

🏆 Could Be Trouble Hexham Winner – 4th October 2024

'Grey Diamond' joins the Always Trying Syndicate.

2025

🏆 Could Be Trouble Haydock Winner – 19th March 2025

'Jipekaa Machin' joins the Always Trying Syndicate

'Whiskeywealth' joins the Always Trying Syndicate

Idylle Sauvage does to stud and is covered by Mogul.

Membership grows to more than 150 owners across the UK.

'Fille Imbassee' joins the Always Trying Syndicate

'Power Strike' joins the Always Trying Syndicate

'Faithful Guardian' joins the Always Trying Syndicate

🏆 Fille Imbassee wins the Mark Carr Leicester Legacy Handicap, becoming the syndicate's first Flat winner.
