Power Strike - Exciting 3 Yr Old Prospect Joins The Syndicate
The Always Trying Racing Syndicate is delighted to announce the arrival of Power Strike, an exciting new addition to the team and a horse we believe has all the ingredients to develop into a very smart performer.
Purchased from the respected yard of Joseph O'Brien, Power Strike arrives with a pedigree that immediately catches the eye and, perhaps more importantly, the profile of a horse who may not yet have shown his full ability on the racecourse.
While his form in Ireland doesn't tell the whole story, there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic. Racing predominantly on soft and heavy ground, he rarely encountered the quicker conditions connections feel will suit him best.
Since joining the syndicate, every decision has been made with one objective in mind—giving him the best possible opportunity to fulfil his potential.
Following a successful gelding operation, the plan is to campaign him over distances of around a mile during the summer months, where his natural pace, athleticism and way of going are expected to be seen to much better effect.

Power Strike is exceptionally well bred.
He is by Night Of Thunder, one of Europe's leading stallions, out of a mare by the legendary Frankel—a combination that brings together two of the finest bloodlines in modern thoroughbred racing.
Whilst pedigree alone never guarantees success, it certainly gives every reason to be excited about what the future may hold.
Confidence Built on Recent Success
The syndicate's confidence in purchasing horses with untapped potential has already been rewarded this season.
Earlier this year, Fille Imbassee joined the team before going on to record an impressive victory at Leicester and following up with a courageous second-place finish on her next start.
Those performances reinforced the importance of patient horse placement and careful management—an approach we intend to continue with Power Strike.
