Could Be Trouble Delivers Our First Syndicate Winner at Catterick
Some victories mean more than others.
On 27th February 2024, Could Be Trouble gave Always Trying Racing Syndicate one of the most memorable days in its history by becoming our first-ever winner, producing a brilliant front-running performance at Catterick Racecourse under an inspired ride from Abbie McCain.
It was a day that every syndicate member will remember forever.
A Perfect Race from Start to Finish
From the moment the starter let them go, Could Be Trouble looked full of confidence.
Abbie McCain sent her straight to the front, where she travelled fluently, jumped accurately and dictated the race at her own pace. Horse and jockey worked together perfectly, controlling the contest from the outset against a competitive field.
As the runners turned for home, the pressure began to build. A rival briefly challenged for the lead, but Could Be Trouble showed tremendous determination, digging deep when it mattered most.
Responding brilliantly to Abbie McCain's encouragement, she found another gear and powered clear on the run to the finish, crossing the line an impressive 4½ lengths in front.
It was a performance full of courage, class and determination.
