Trained by Julie Camacho and partnered by Tom Kiely-Marshall, Fille Imbassee was sent confidently to the front from the outset, where she quickly established a smooth, relentless rhythm. Always travelling strongly, she controlled the race throughout before gradually increasing the tempo turning for home.

When asked to extend inside the final two furlongs, she responded brilliantly, stretching clear of her rivals and keeping on powerfully to cross the line an impressive 2¼-length winner, never looking like being caught.
